Apparently you cannot call your couture collection "
haute couture" unless you are based in Paris and have the blessings of the
Chambre. However, that does not mean that if you're producing in Milan, you are not as good as your counterparts in Paris. And by that, I will cite
Sarli as an example, with his wonderful
Spring 2011 Couture collection. Divine oh divine!
