Midas' Touch

Many of you may have heard of Viktor & Rolf, for the "Flowerbomb' fragrance they launched back a few years ago. But I also recognised the duo as something of pure fashion talent, even though they do put out some rather whimsical, what-just-hit-me clothes on the runway. For example, their last Spring 2010 ready to wear but that is worthy of another blog. What I have here today is their Fall 2006 collection which I thought interesting was the way they electroplated the fabric with metal. This was inspired by the European tradition of dipping a baby's shoe in silver for keepsakes.
