Change Of Guard At Chloe

This is how the fashion industry works. Every now and again, we have designers departing from one label and joining another, unless you're King Karl or an independent designer-cum-label owner. It's almost like musical chair but this year, we saw Galliano fired from Dior, De Carnin leaving Balmain and now, Hannah MacGibbon parting ways with Chloe. Taking over from Paolo Melim Andersson in late 2008, MacGibbon actually managed to churn out about 5 seasons of pretty pretty for French label Chloe. Londoner MacGibbon started off assisting at Valentino in the late 90s and subsequently became Phoebe Philo's assistant until 2006.

Here is one of my favourite collection from MacGibbon for Chloe. This also happens to be her debut collection for the label
