Creatively Coke

Besides being a world-renowned fashion designer and THE creative director for Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld undertakes a number of side projects when he is not busy sketching or choosing fabrics. The most recent collaboration saw Karl designing 3 limited-edition Diet Coke bottles. The specially-designed pink, white and black bottles, following the success of a prior Karl-Coke collaboration in April 2010, will be available in June 2011

These specially-designed Coca-cola Light bottles, also by Karl Lagerfeld, was such a success in 2010 that Diet Coke has repeated this collaboration in 2011 (see above)
These limited edition package designed by Lagerfeld for Coca-Cola Light were retailed through Galeries Lafayette and Collette for $81 a pop
This is not the first time the iconic beverage company teams up with celebrities. Past projects include Diet Coke bottles designed by SATC's trendsetting stylist Patricia Fields, electronica duo Daft Punk, jewellery designer Johnny Rockets. UK TV presenter Denise Van Outen, designer/model Nathalie Rykiel and also, a Milan-based fund-raising campaign for the Abruzzo earthquake victims in 2009

Sex and The City's very famous stylist, Patricia Fields designed 4 Diet Coke bottles in the 2009 campaign
In 2009, Coca-Cola Italy teamed up with fashion designers in the "Tribute to Fashion" charity event in Milan, to raise funds for the Abruzzo earthquake victims. This event was done as part of the 2009 Milan Fashion Week
 Some of the designers featured in the Abruzzo fund-raiser include Donatella Versace, Alberta Ferretti, Anna Molinari for Blumarine, Veronica Etro, Silvia Venturini for Fendi, Angela Missoni, and Rossella Jardini for Moschino. More designs can be found here
