Andrej Pejic is currently in hot demand thanks to his androgynous look and his ability to model both menswear and womenswear. Of Serbian descent,
Pejic came to Melbourne as a war refugee, was raised in Broadmeadows before being discovered and whisked off to Europe for major modelling assignments. I remember the time when androgynous female models were all the rage -
Agyness Deyn,
Stella Tennant and Jenny Shimizu, just to name a few, back in the early 2000s. Modelling is one of the few professions where the females reign supreme over male models. Until Pejic catwalked for
