Of Flesh And Fringes

It is not difficult to see Ricardo Tisci's DNA in these pieces. While there is no lack of  labourious handcrafted details in these dresses, I am starting to see a re-occurrence of french-seamed godets, symmetrical placement of hand-cut lace applique and crazy 3-D beadwork. Fashion's goth son is keeping it light and not-so easy this Fall. Well, not so easy for the seamstresses in the Givenchy workroom anyway.
