As promised previously, let's take a moment to ponder on
Viktor & Rolf's
Spring 2010 RTW collection. Inspired by the effects of
GFC, the duo explained that credit crunch means "everybody's cutting back, we decided to cut
tulle ball gown". Whether these dresses are realistic or not, we cannot fault the duo for experimenting with creativity, silhouettes and shapes, which in this case may involve a level of complexity in construction techniques when one is sewing that many layers of
tulle!
