Ruth Hogben

Based in London, Ruth Hogben assisted Nick Knight between 2005 and 2009 as his photographic assistant and fashion film editor. She has worked with a number of fashion designers, including Gareth Pugh and Phoebe Philo of Celine. These collaborative works manifest as virtual fashion shows, a far cry from the traditional catwalk. What I find inspiring with her videos is her play on light and shadow (notice that the videos are in B&W), movements, shapes and symmetry projection
